The Salisbury Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization was created for the purpose of supporting the education of children at SES by fostering relationships among the school, parents/caregivers, and teachers. We support school staff, help promote student self-esteem, and assist in efforts to solve school needs through volunteering and funding — which is where you come in!
All parents, grandparents, guardians, and staff are encouraged to sign up to become a member of the SES PTO. Joining is easy and comes with some great benefits (like being able to volunteer to chaperone field trips, developing community relationships, and more). We use membership dues to fund important things like t-shirts and headphones for each student in the school. Not only does membership come with all these great perks, but there's no additional obligation, making it an easy way to enrich your child's educational experience. Our primary objective as a PTO is to provide our school with funds, programs, resources, and services that will maximize the education experience of every child while benefiting the school. To meet this important objective we run a variety of fundraisers throughout the year. You can visit our website to get information on our current fundraisers and see how you can get involved.
Some of the things we’ve done in the past include:
Color Run
Purse Bingo
Vendor Fair
Perkins Pies
We can’t do any of this without you. Please consider becoming a member today. If you’d like to become more involved, you can check out our volunteer opportunities here.
We are a growing community and in need of support from SES families. No amount of time or money is too small to help make a difference in the lives of the students and staff here in Salisbury.
The PTO holds three general meetings a year. We provide childcare via the Salisbury High School Key Club and we encourage families to join us for an evening of conversation, community building, and fun. Follow our Facebook page for more information.
