Health Services

All District Health Rooms are staffed by Certified School Nurses, Registered Nurses or Licensed Practical Nurses during school hours. The certified school nurse (CSN) is an RN who has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and PA Department of Education Certification in School Nursing. Our district CSN's must cover more than 1 building, therefore the Assistant School Nurses cover the schools on the days the CSN's are assigned elsewhere.

Christine Tripp is the Certified School Nurse at Salisbury High School and Salisbury Middle School. Mrs. Tripp has her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cedar Crest College, her School Nurse Certification from East Stroudsburg University and her Masters in Education from Gratz College. She was a school nurse in the Bangor School District before joining Salisbury's nursing staff in 2006. Mrs. Tripp was employed as a staff nurse at Lehigh Valley Hospital for over 30 years and is an AHA CPR instructor.
