At last night's Curriculum and Technology. Committee Meeting three WSE students, Tessa K., Emily L. and Connor S., spoke about Leadership Notebooks. These notebooks are used in the classrooms to help students set goals, track progress and celebrate success. They are part of the Leader in Me program that the school embraces to help the students become leaders. Within the presentation, six students provided videos of themselves explaining their own Leadership Notebooks. Three will be highlighted this week and three next week.

Hanging out with friends and cheerleading.

I have a cat named Pumpkin and a dog named Lola.

What is your favorite subject?
Band class because it's always a grand time with all of my friends and there isn't a class where we all don't laugh and have fun.
Who is your favorite teacher and why?
Ms. Reinecke is my favorite teacher because she is always there to listen and she always tells us really funny stories.

Performing on the field with my best friends and creating memories.

Are you involved in any community service projects?
I volunteer at Lehigh Valley Hospital during the summer with the pediatric rehabilitation center.
Who is your role model and why?
I would have to say my mother because she is always pushing herself to be the best for her, and she wants the best for her family and will do anything for us.
What’s next after graduation?
I will be attending Slippery Rock University and majoring in occupational therapy
