Happy Earth Day! WSE Kindergarteners are working hard to recycle and reuse. Look at how one student turned cans into a wind chime and another student turned a paper towel roll into a telescope! How creative!

This is the beginning of the Bachman/Cramsey hydroponic garden. The frame is an upcycled porch swing and the pipes are leftover from our bathroom project. The plants were started in empty milk jugs (our family of 6 drinks a lot of milk) and then transplanted into the net pots of the hydroponic garden when they were big enough. We plan to add dill, lettuce, and more green beans and tomatoes as we work out the kinks. WOW! Great Idea!

WSE First Graders, Crislenny and Kiley, along with their classmates, build their reading fluency by reciting the poem, "I'm Glad" and share their drawings on Earth Day!
