The special ed. department will host an information night on students with IEPs transitioning from high school and post-secondary options on Tues., Feb. 25th at 5:30 PM in the SHS library. This session is for high school students with IEPs and their parents / guardians.

Tomorrow (2/22) we will be hosting the corn hole doubles tournament! All proceeds will go towards supporting the yearbook club, as we aim to give a special set of extra pages to the senior class. The tournament is open to the public, and is an all ages event. Bring your family, your friends, and your kids!

Mrs Hur makes learning fun! Her 4th grade class is learning all about magnets! They review for their test by playing “Plicker”, a game in which a question is shown on the smart board and the children hold up cards with the answer they think is correct. Mrs Hur scans their cards and the results are shown on the board with the correct answer so they can see if they got it right. It’s a great way to learn and the kids think they are playing a game!

2019 SHS graduate and Duke freshman Jonah Niesenbaum posted a 5-2 wrestling victory at 285 pounds against Virginia in an Atlantic Coast Conference match last weekend. He also picked up an injury-default decision in a 39-6 loss to Navy on Feb. 9.
